Meet Bella
Founder & Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist #134540
My path to this work started early. I immigrated to the United States from Russia when I was 9, which meant growing up between two very different ways of thinking about mental health — one where it was rarely discussed at all, and one where I slowly learned it was okay to.
That contrast shaped everything about how I practice today. I started this work because I saw a real gap: people, especially in cultural communities where emotional openness isn't the norm, need a space that's genuinely accessible and doesn't ask them to leave their background at the door. My goal is simple — to help people feel safe enough to stop staying silent about what they're carrying.
In my work, I've seen again and again how much our relationship with food can carry the weight of everything else going on in our lives — stress, identity, family, control. That's what drew me to specialize in eating disorders specifically, alongside trauma, anxiety, depression, and identity and cultural-adjustment concerns.
Outside the office, you'll usually find me with my family, my dog, or catching up with friends. I believe caring for your mental health isn't separate from the rest of life — it's part of what makes the rest of it possible.
