Healing doesn't happen in isolation. Group therapy offers something individual sessions can't: the experience of being understood by people who are working through similar struggles. At CAED, our groups are trauma-informed and clinician-led, offering a structured, supportive space to practice connection, build insight, and feel less alone in the process.
Many of the struggles that feel isolating — disordered eating, anxiety, perfectionism, body image concerns — carry a quiet shame that convinces people they're the only ones experiencing it. Group therapy interrupts that.
Groups offer a chance to practice new relational patterns — expressing needs, setting boundaries, tolerating vulnerability — in a supported setting, with real feedback in the moment.
Group therapy pairs well with individual therapy, offering a different but equally valuable lens on the same underlying patterns.
Our groups are facilitated by therapists trained in the specific issues each group addresses, not generalist support groups.
We're currently forming new groups. Details on focus, format, and start dates will be listed here as groups are scheduled.
